When the HTC One A9 was announced we reported that the $399 price was only for a limited time. We didn’t know how limited that time would be, or how much the price would increase afterwards. Now we do. According to HTC, on November 7th the price will jump up to $499 in the US at HTC.com.
If you really want this phone, now is the time to order it. We’re not sure the One A9 is even worth the $399 price tag, let alone $499. You can get the Motorola Moto X Pure Edition for $399, and you’ll get better specs in almost every way. The One A9 has a couple of things going for it. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, and HTC says it will be updated no more than 15 days after Nexus updates. The One A9 also has a really good fingerprint scanner.
How do you feel about the HTC One A9? Is it worth $399? How about $499?
