OnePlus 2 4GB RAM

The OnePlus 2 is shaping up to be one killer smartphone. The company has been teasing their phone, releasing bits of information about the device as they lead up to its full July 27th reveal date. Yesterday, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau confirmed that the phone will cost under $450 (and over $322), although he failed to mention if this was maybe just the base model pricing.

Today, OnePlus has revealed that the phone will come equipped with 4GB of DDR4 RAM, capable of handling just about any multitasking job you can throw at this phone. While that may sound a bit overboard, especially in Android’s current state, we’ve seen hints that Android M could bring multiple window multitasking when it launches later this year.

If peace of mind is what you’re looking for, then the OnePlus 2 should make a solid option. Doesn’t get much more future proofed than that.

I've been obsessed with consumer technology for about as long as I can remember, be it video games, photography, or mobile devices. If you can plug it in, I have to own it. Preparing for the day when Android finally becomes self-aware and I get to welcome our new robot overlords.
