Dec 31st - OnePlus is planning something big for 2016 or, perhaps, small is a better word. A device carrying the model number One E1000 was certified by TENAA, the Chinese equivalent of the FCC. The phone, which looks an awful lot like the OnePlus X that launched a few months back apparently carries higher-end hardware that more closely resembles the OnePlus 2.
Dec 31st - Currently, Android Wear doesn’t (yet) support external audio, but it’s entirely possible and even likely that it will be added in a future software update. Fast forward to today where someone on Reddit allegedly received the Android Wear 1.4 update on their watch and wouldn’t you know it, he claims it enabled the watch’s dormant speaker.

It seems Samsung could also be planning to launch a huge 6-inch variant of the Galaxy S7, a size normally reserved for company’s under-powered Galaxy Mega line.
Dec 29th - Samsung is planning to enhance their SmartThings platform in 2016 in one very big way: by finally allowing you to access your SmartThings devices using a Smart TV. The functionality is being built into Samsung’s 2016 Smart TVs, a line which is expected to be shown off at CES 2016 next week.
Dec 29th - Samsung prides itself on Samsung Pay being accepted wherever you can use a credit card, but that’s not entirely true — you still can’t use Samsung Pay to make internet transactions. Thankfully it seems that won’t be the case for long.
