AT&T Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear launch October 4th

7

Sprint was the first to announce their final launch date for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and now AT&T is getting in on it. The company has announced October 4th availability for both the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy Gear smart watch it can be paired up with.

This dynamic duo will cost you $300 each, with the Note 3 only coming in at that price point after signing a new two-year contract. You could also opt for AT&T’s Next offer, which will give you the phone with no down payment for $35 per month and the option to upgrade it after just one year.

These two devices will be the talk of the town for quite some time. The Note 3 is a 5.7-inch 1080p device that houses a whopping 3GB of RAM and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 quad-core chipset clocked at 2.3GHz. The device features the all-important S Pen, which is a Wacom-enabled stylus that has pressure sensitivity and can be sensed by the display when it’s hovering over.

Other specs for the Note 3 include a 13 megapixel camera with optical image stabilization, a 2 megapixel front camera, NFC, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0 and more.

The Galaxy Gear smart watch can be paired with the Note 3 to deliver things like email, text messages, information about incoming calls and more. It also has a camera so you can snap photos James Bond style. Oh, and it can tell time. Neato!

  2. Over the last few months I have completely went off Samsung products. I
don’t like where they are heading with propitiatory app stores and
accessory’s, not to mention the crapware they load on their phones….. Plus HTC, LG, Oppo and Sony are starting to make as
good as or better hardware than Samsung.
