Samsung Galaxy S3 AT&T update brings minor UI tweaks, bug fixes

8

A small update has hit the AT&T Galaxy S3 today, and don’t expect it to set the world ablaze. It’s an 82MB update that doesn’t look to change much at first glance, but there are a few changes to be had.

The settings menu has been reworked as the Kies Over WiFi setting has been moved to the bottom of “More Settings.” There also seems to be more effects in the camera app, a new VPN app, changes to the keyboard, and more.

There’s a bit of a “what doesn’t belong” game going on XDA right now where users are posting their findings of what’s new. Why don’t you join in on the fun and poke around to see what’s changed while we attempt to procure a changelog? You’re looking for build IMM76D.I747UCALH9. [via XDA, thanks to everyone who sent this in!]

  7. Id like to know why the S3 software isnt the same across the board? I understand different bloatware for different carriers but ATT gets a brightness slider yet VZW doesnt. Makes no sense

  8. One thing I noticed to with the Samsung keyboard is one of my favorite features of 3rd party keyboards, the touch to correct feature. One reason I never used the Samsung keyboard. It’s great but that’s a feature I must have for easy correction. I love it.
