Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies Finally Available For All Android Devices

38

Well, I guess I should say most Android devices (there’s no such thing as 100% compatibility in Android). After finding itself locked down as an exclusive for the Sony Xperia Play, now the rest of Google’s children can partake in the undead mayhem of Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies. The first person shooter is one of a few titles offered by publisher Glu Mobile where you’ll have to pay the upfront cost of $7.

Before you get all snooty, that also means you’ll be able to enjoy a full game without having to worry about paying for in-app purchases to advance. That $7 price-tag is a reasonable amount for a game of this caliber. Once the developers add gamepad support, I’ll be downloading this in a jiffy. You can find Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies in the Google Play Store right now.

I've been obsessed with consumer technology for about as long as I can remember, be it video games, photography, or mobile devices. If you can plug it in, I have to own it. Preparing for the day when Android finally becomes self-aware and I get to welcome our new robot overlords.

  1. $7! No thanks… I’d rather just pay for a MW3 map pack, and play new maps….

    1. Guess it’s freemiums and IAP’s for you, then.

    2. Just download for free! I posted the link.

      1. You sound like a scammer, no offense. I will not be downloading your link.

        1. Lol no offense taken! just trying to help! I guess the rule does apply that if it sounds too good to be true, its probably a scam! but in this case I was being nice! lol

          1. You are not helping Android. This is why we end up with crappy freemium games while iPhone gets all the latest stuff.

          2. Sorry! just don’t wanna pay! the same things happen on iOS! People have a choice to use the link I’m not forcing them. Android is open source right?

          3. Yes, android is open source. Does that mean that my new Galaxy S3 is free? No… I still paid for my phone. Someome spent time on designing this phone, put resources into making it, and then made it available to the general public for purchase.
It’s a product. Just like the applications you’re pirating. I won’t lie, I’ve pirated games in the past. This, for me at least, was simply a way to test drive the applications for more than a couple hours before being stuck with (modern combat 2 comes to mind for me here). If they’re worth the money, I uninstall the cracked .apk, and buy it. If they’re not, I uninstall and forget.

Open source =/= everything for free. I dare you to walk into a computer store, ask for a laptop with linux on it, then try demanding that it should be free because it’s open source.

          4. just don’t use it if you don’t want it!

          5. Hey I don’t want to pay either. Can I come over to your house and take your stuff?

          6. lol

          7. I don’t care about ios. i care about Android and we’re not going to get good games if people don’t support the developers.

          8. The link is gone! Chill out already!

      2. thanx for the link. I’m not as morally upright as some of these folks ;)

        1. Lol! its great, I’ve been playing for the last month! enjoy.

  2. $7 from play store or 7 seconds from 4shared… hmm… ?

    1. You have 7 likes and dislikes. LoL!! As of now at least.

  3. $7 is a bit steep, pass

  4. Oh and make sure you click the orange rectangle to the right that says download now!

    1. PS. no root required and it won’t work on the Galaxy Nexus! not sure why?

  5. Sounds like a winning plan

    1. Did you get it!?

  6. I can’t remember the last time I bought a game from the Play Store that was actually worth it

    1. GTA 3 is pretty fun, and I never played the original during its prime. Well worth the 5 dollars.

    2. Like racing? Asphalt 6 (Forget 7)
      MC3 for 1st person shooters
Amazing SpiderMan for adventure type games
      Juggernaut for RPG’s. It’s a turn based.
And yea, GTA 3 for Sandbox games of course.

  7. Works great on my One X

    1. Did you pay or use the link?

      1. I’m sure they have a license check. -_-
Pirating games is kinda stupid now and days. You’re better off buying them. They ALWAYS work.

        1. Thanks! I don’t care! ;-)

  8. The app was given to me and I passed it on! if you don’t like it then don’t use the link! but complaining about it while your downloading it is dumb. if its really that bad then Chris (Author) could just remove the post. but do you really give the people you know with free unlimited hot spot any sh*t or what about the app 4shard that gives out apps for free? and we all have Veetle for free movies, so stop crying!

    1. Things like 4shared are what causes the insane amounts of DRM that are present in apps and games. It is stealing.

      1. People still use it by choice, and its still in the market!

  9. Too bad I and everyone I know stopped playing cod after modern warfare 1. It was like halo, played because somehow it was the only decently playable game out and then it died.

  10. Downloaded on one x and it gave me the “additional download failed” bs just give it an hour or so or reboot phone and it will start downloading. After download it is awesome, I am trying to get used to the controls and how close but so far they are from dead trigger. Still upet that der reise isn’t a map :/

  11. Bought it this morning, Runs like butter on the Nexus 7. I will give it a try tomorrow on my Galaxy Nexus, but it’s $7 well spent.

  12. I got a question it said it is now for all devices but when I go to the link it said not compatible plz try again later I’m using Samsung fascinate

  13. WHY ISNT THIS ON THE ASUS INFINITY… I MEAN CMON!!!!!!! THE INFINITY IS THE BEST TABLET IN THE MARKET. ANDROID 4.0.X ICS, 1.6 ghz processor, TEGRA EFFIN 3, QUAD CORE, True HD… HOW THE HELL IS THIS NOT AVAILABLE FOR THE INFINITY
