Motorola Droid RAZR M unboxed [Video]

8

You can pre-order it starting tonight, but for the general public the Motorola Droid RAZR M won’t be available until next week. Luckily, I’m not the general public and Motorola was kind enough to hook Phandroid up with the handset ahead of its launch. At $99, the M is the cheapest of the RAZR family yet it packs specs that are hardly outdated. On top of that, this handset doesn’t feel like a plastic toy. This phone features the same durable construction as other RAZR devices, including a Kevlar backing, and has some decent heft.

Motorola and Verizon aren’t including any bells or whistles in the package, but the RAZR M by itself should suffice. We’ll be back with a more in-depth review later, but for now satisfy yourselves with this quick unboxing video.

  1. Looks good, but the “edge-to-edge” claim is deceiving.

    1. If it dint have that huge chin at the bottom it might have looked nicer, the droid razr hd/max white version looks pretty nice though

I hate Verizon now. You may be a great carrier, I don’t know. But you made this phone ugly.

        1. yea idk why the Verizon branding has to be on the front, moto needs to stop that >.>

          1. Motorola likes to do things old school. That’s why they named another phone DROID RAZR MAXX HD and built in kevlar protection. It is also why the original droid had gold highlights, like a boss.

  2. no headphone what the hell moto lol
looks awesome it shouldve been 4.8 and quad core.

  3. Looks like a great phone for the price. I wish motorola phones would come to T-Mobile. Why is Samsung so popular? They’re flagship phones are everywhere. How is Motorola with updates? I would buy a razr if it was on t-mobile and they provided timely updates.

  4. That guy needs a hair cut and a shave….but good job on the unboxing..
