Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 WiFi now getting Ice Cream Sandwich

8

While the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has already gotten its Ice Cream Sandwich update, owners of the Tab 8.9 were still waiting for theirs. The wait appears to be over, however, as we’re receiving reports that it’s now being pushed out to users over-the-air. It’s a 313MB update, and it comes with an improved Touchwiz experience and it will bring all the goods that came with Ice Cream Sandwich. The “About Tablet” menu under settings should get you started, but if you’re not down with doing this over-the-air then you can also do it through Samsung Kies. Let us know if it finds you OK. [Thanks Michael!]

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.
