Samsung loses appeal in Germany against Galaxy Tab ban …epa03086848 (FILE) A file photo dated 17 August 2011 showing Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (R) and an Apple iPad 2 next to each other in The Hague, The Netherlands. Korean electronics company Samsung on 31 January 2012 lost a court appeal against a ban on the sale of its Galaxy Tab 10.1 computer tablets in Germany. The ruling by a higher court in Dusseldorf is a legal victory for Apple, which last year won an injunction banning distribution of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Europe’s largest economy. It successfully argued that the Samsung tablets, which uses Google’s Android software, copy its iPad design.
Samsung lost months of sales and has had to restyle the device. Its replacement product – the Tab 10.1 N which is exclusively for German sales – was not discussed in Tuesday’s verdict. EPA/LEX VAN LIESHOUT

I've been obsessed with consumer technology for about as long as I can remember, be it video games, photography, or mobile devices. If you can plug it in, I have to own it. Preparing for the day when Android finally becomes self-aware and I get to welcome our new robot overlords.
