Samsung Galaxy Note listed as ‘Coming Soon’ at T-Mobile’s site

17

In case you needed any more confirmation that T-Mobile will soon launch their own version of the Samsung Galaxy Note, just take a peek at the carrier’s website. The Note is now listed as “Coming Soon.” No other details, such as pricing or release date, are provided for the launch of the long-anticipated release. Rumors of the Galaxy Note on T-Mobile can be traced back for months with the carrier only coming clean about the 5.3-inch phablet recently.

The timing isn’t exactly perfect. At this rate, the phone looks to launch right around the time that Samsung is rumored to announce the sequel to the Galaxy Note at an August 15 press event. Will the original still be as attractive to TMo subscribers at that point? We’ll just have to wait and see.

  1. I wish to know T-mob’s gameplan

  2. Seriously T-mobile? They are almost ready to launch the Note 2. You’ve had the phone for such a long time… release it already. May be they will be offering it on the cheap, so people will still be inclined to get it.

  3. Damn talk about being behind ! The note II is about to come out everywhere else, and they’re talking about releasing the original note ??

  4. I look at this as more of a gateway for the Galaxy Note 2 when it gets released in the United States, T-Mobile could now be amongst the first to get its sequel barring any exclusive deals that is.

  5. this is some bullshit …Note 2 will drop here shortly….tmobile gotta catch up …….

  6. T-Moble will be releasing this a short amount of time before it is EOL. When they do release the Note, the commercial should have Carly holding it while she is standing in front last year’s model of her motorcycle.

  7. wow. I REALLY hope this is a feint and they are just gonna fire off with the Note 2 out of the gate. Otherwise I really cant understand what in the flock Tmo is thinking. They are starting to sound like one of the more bobo pre paid carriers each and every day.

  8. This is a winner on TMO if its released wth JB. By saying JB I mean jelly beans not Justin Bieber.

  9. This should be the Note 2 and not the Note. T-mobile is going to release a product that is already out of date.

    1. And they probably already preordered a ton of them from Samsung so there isn’t much they can do.

    2. I agree, but if AT&T has another stupid exclusive, the Note 2 might also be locked out of T-Mobile’s hands for another year.

Besides, this Note has 4G LTE, something the AT&T one does not; and I’m not going to wait another year just to have a quad and more bragging rights, when the current note is a fantastic device by all measures IMO — I’ve only used my friends, I’m jealous.

T-Mobile is implementing the spectrum that AT&T has on to their towers, so hopefully this will put a stop to these frustrating exclusives.

      1. T-Mobile does not have 4G LTE.. .LOL.. GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!! muahahah

  10. They will sell plenty of them, there are plenty of uninformed customers who don’t watch the tech blogs everyday like we do. Will be interesting to see if the note 2 is released in the states at the same time as overseas.

  11. Is it really a Super Amoled Plus hd screen?

  12. Galaxy Note Pre-Order on August 14th…to ship by August 21st!

Galaxy Note 2 Announced August 15th…to ship by mid September

Oh TMobile…so late to the party its not even fashionable…its laughable!

  13. Ugh, I hate seeing stuff like this. Anyone could have imported an international Note and had it on t-mobile almost a year ago by now. US carriers are a mess these days.

  14. For those complaining the note 2 release drawing near: AT&T will probably have another stupid exclusive and tmobile won’t get it for months. And the processor: it won’t really matter because it will most likely get updated to jelly bean and its buttery goodness. For those that like the design and touchwiz 4.0, this is a great choice.
