Batman: The Dark Knight Rises for Android launching July 20th

5

Earlier this summer we learned that Batman and his raspy voice would be soaring to the Google Play Store. Batman: The Dark Knight Rises will come to Android July 20th and coincides with the official opening of the film in theaters.

Despite thousands of people already seeing the film in screening we’re sure there are tons who decided not to spoil themselves if they were unable to get to one of those screenings. That said, we’re not sure if the game itself is a spoiler but it’s probably best to hold off until after you watch the film.

But if you find yourself craving the bat come July 20th then you’re free to dig in. We’re guessing it’ll cost somewhere between $5 and $10, but no details have been given on pricing just yet. Check out the trailer for the mobile game above.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. I didn’t see any of the grappling, gliding and stealth mechanics that the Arkham games have. Would be too bad if it was just a beat-em-up with nice graphics.

    1. If you have seen/played their Amazing Spider-man game, I think you’ll be convinced they can accomplish fluid grappling and gliding.

  2. What would be hardware requirements for the game ?? Any idea ??

  3. Nice screenshot of the game there ;)

  4. I like batman ,I think it’s a wonderful film,at the same time the costume is cool. How about this one?
