Just wondering which phone will have better battery life between the Galaxy s3 and the htc 1x; that will determine to me which one to get, prolly the S3 BUT I wanna see exactly how much better one is than the other

Uhm I’m sure that Galaxy SIII is still running Touchwiz. That screenshot is the DocoMo Palette Launcher (which is horribly laggy even on dualcore phones btw).
That’s like taking a photo of a HTC phone running GoLauncher and saying it’s not running Sense anymore….
Yes, it will, of course be running TouchWiz, for better or for worse.
I think what confused the original reporters of this news is that, on the line-up spec sheet, the DoCoMo pallete box was checked (as it was for all the other phones in this summer’s lineup). This just means that it is compatible with palette, and probably comes with it pre-installed.
Palette is a very basic, simplified UI for non-power users.
It’s noteworthy that the RAM in that Japanese GS3 variant has been upped to 2 GB.
