Dell Said to be Reentering Tablet Market Later This Year

2

If you haven’t realized it by now, Dell has sort of dissipated from the tablet and mobile game. Their Streak devices haven’t done so well in a market that has quickly evolved. It looks like they haven’t slowed down on their efforts to bring a compelling device to market, though, as Reuters reports they’re getting ready to introduce a new tablet device later this year.

No details can be had on the supposed tablet. We don’t even know if it’ll run Android. Dell’s always been a big Windows supporter and Windows 8 could capture their attention. Whatever the case may be we’re glad that their early fumbles in the tablet market hasn’t deterred them from trying.

Dell will supposedly approach this market with the utmost caution and you can’t blame them. The tablet market’s evolution is never ending and it’s hard to gauge where it’ll be at any given point in time. We’ll be at the edge of our seats to see what they’ll do.
