New Droid Incredible 2 Update Ready to Go, Brings Security Patches and More

There is a new update for the Droid Incredible 2 on Verizon waiting in the wings. Bringing the phone’s software to version 5.10.605.9, the update includes security patches as well as new features. These features include local video playback in Airplane Mode, an improved alarm clock, and updated “Push email sync during off-peak hours.”

The documentation is up at Verizon’s support site, which means the update should be rolling out to handsets shortly. Let us know in the comments if you have gotten yours.
