LG Confirms Ice Cream Sandwich Updates for Optimus 3D, Black, 2X and LTE

9

LG has posted an update to their Facebook page regarding potential Ice Cream Sandwich upgrades for their lineup of Android handsets. Confirmed to be shortlisted for said upgrade are the Optimus 2X, Optimus Black, Optimus 3D, and Optimus LTE. Evaluations continue to determing the feasibility of pushing the new Android version to other LG handsets.

No timeframe is given for the potential release of Android 4.0 for these handsets, but LG plans to keep the whole process as transparent as possible. A release schedule and additional information should be made public sometime in December.
