NTT Docomo Will Carry Nexus Prime In November

4

NTT Docomo may have jumped the gun a bit in tweeting that they’ll be one of the first to carry the phone currently known as the Nexus Prime / Galaxy Nexus, but failed to reveal anything of real substance beyond an already expected timeframe. Still, the shock sent tweetwaves around the web as interested onlookers clamor for everything Nexus Ice Cream Sammy they possibly can.

While this may be exciting for Japanese consumers eager to snag the new phone from NTT Docomo, a much different sentiment can be felt if you simply translate the tweet into English:

Notice: the latest Android OS smartphone with Google and Samsung Electronics announced on October 19 in Hong Kong tomorrow. DoCoMo is almost equivalent to the fastest in the world, scheduled for release in November. More later.

Like I said… not that exciting. Yet it illustrates we’re one step closer to chomping into an Ice Cream Sandwich now that carriers are starting to chime in. Stay tuned for a full day of Nexus Prime / Galaxy Nexus coverage on Phandroid.com!
