Samsung Stratosphere Launching at Verizon October 13

Verizon’s 4G LTE lineup will welcome a new member next week, according to new details leaked to DroidLife. The Samsung Stratosphere, which has been detailed time and time again and dropped a system dump earlier this week, is now rumored to be coming to Verizon October 13th. The date comes along with a full spec sheet, which further confirms the phones position as a mid-range QWERTY slider comparable to last year’s Epic 4G on Sprint. It’s not quite the Droid Bionic or the upcoming Nexus Prime, but it should provide a lower-priced 4G option to Verizon customers.

  2. Nexus Prime what?

  3. A lot of people will spring for this phone, simply because it’s a slider, it’s 4G, and it’s decently-designed. It’s a nice mid-range option that Verizon has needed. Of course, being an Android snob, I’ll be waiting for the latest and greatest when my contract is up, but this is certainly not a bad option.

    1. You are correct. This will have to hold me over until the Droid4 w/ LTE comes out. Gotta have my keyboard!

  4. I’ve had this phone for over a year and half, the Epic 4g. But time to get a duel core now, so this is old news!
