Official Flickr App Now Available In The Android Market

7

Popular Yahoo photo service, Flickr, has finally released an Android app into the Market. Not exactly sure what took them so long but if you’ve been using their service since back in ’00, I’m sure this will come as a welcomed release. The Flickr app is actually quite full featured with its own dedicated camera app allowing you to add custom filters and easily share your freshly snapped pics with your favorite social networks. If you never found yourself jumping on the Flickr bandwagon you always have the option of signing directly from the app. One thing severly lacking is any kind of tablet support where a dedicated app like this could be extremely useful. You can download Flickr for free right now from the Android Market.

I've been obsessed with consumer technology for about as long as I can remember, be it video games, photography, or mobile devices. If you can plug it in, I have to own it. Preparing for the day when Android finally becomes self-aware and I get to welcome our new robot overlords.

  6. I’m using it already, it has nice visualization for filtering, but those icons for iPad are too good than it have. I’m in a vacation for a week and I try using this Flickr and it’s just like Facebook where in I can share my photos fast and easily.

  7. Easy way to share photos online with friends and relatives, I just started using Flickr and it is very interesting, my little sister love taking pictures around our house. I have too much icons for windows to share with my friends and this app is the one I user to share it.
