LG Esteem Is Revealed – 4G LTE Enabled Device For MetroPCS

6

The LG Esteem was just revealed today via LG’s partner portal and it looks like this 4G LTE enabled device will be making it’s way onto MetroPCS in the near future. The Esteem, which is essentially an LG Revolution, will feature a 4.3-inch 800×480 display, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 5MP rear/1.3MP front facing cameras and run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

If you were hoping for a release date or pricing nothing has been announced even though I’d say this bad boy looks like its all set to roll. This will definitely help MetroPCS’s current 4G lineup with only the underpowered Samsung Craft and Galaxy Indulge being currently available. What do you guys think? Would this be enough to make you go post-paid?

  1. so this ships with gb yet the revolution is pretty much the same phone and that phone will be stuck on 2.2 forever probably lol

  2. Awesome finally some solid proof

  3. Does anyone else find it interesting that the device name was changed to “Esteem” for MetroPCS? A bit condescending, dont you think? Like “esteem” to get a real phone. “Esteem” to get on a contract carrier? Wow. Trend that…

  4. I had metro for 3 months…HORRIBLE customer service. Impossible to understand people to talk to, and they charged me twice for my monthly rates twice then never refunded my money. I had to remove my auto pay and cancel my service. Ended up paying about $300+ for 3 months of prepaid…Plus they dont have 3g. You either take their 4g with their spotty coverage or buy the 2g LG Optimus and deal with slower than slow connections. The Galaxy Indulge I had would give decent speed on 4g, but if that wasnt available would drop down to insanely slow speed. Hardly worth the $400 price tag.

  5. So it’s a phone with almost identical specs as the Evo4g? A phone which just reached it’s EOL…

    It better be cheap…
