If the 12mm LG Optimus 3D (Thrill) was a little too “thick” for your tastes, LG is well aware of this fact and may have something more to your liking coming next year. LG developer Dr. Henry Noh spoke with Pocket-Lint today on a possible sequel for the Optimus 3D that LG has been hard at work on.
“Everyone knows that’s this [LG Optimus 3D] is not the slimmest and sexiest phone on the street. We want to make it a little slimmer. Eventually, we want to make it so that having the 3D won’t necessarily mean that it’s going to be thicker. That’s going to be a differentiating factor that comes for free to the user,”
The device in question will measure in at only 7mm thick and if all goes well, should see a 2012 launch. What do you guys think? Was it the LG Thrill’s thickness that kept you from picking up the device? Or should LG be focusing their efforts elsewhere?

LG should come up with a stable top of the line phone. Thid 3D thing hasnt been adopted by the masses yet. Their LG G2X was very problematic and tmobile had to halt its sales for a while. There is still room for improvement.
Will never look at lg again. After having 7 g2x phones, two unusable from the box, 5 with major problems .
7 wow, I would have given up after the second one, the phone isn’t good anyway.
I am also done with LG.
My brother has the o2x, and he’s more than satisfied. So far, the only unhappy people i saw so far are g2x owners. I wonder why.
Well I have the Thrill and its not like a freaking brick. I believe the Revolution is thicker then the Thrill. Pretty good built phone with no regrets. Hopefully the next Optimistic 3D has 1gb dual channel memory.
I think keeping the 12mm thickness but slimming down the hardware to fit in a bigger battery would be far more exciting.
