Motorola ATRIX 4G Getting CyanogenMod 7 Alpha, Apply to be a Tester

4

After all of this 2nd-init hooplah, the ROMs are storming in. Now, CyanogenMod 7 appears to be headed for the Motorola ATRIX 4G. How long it’ll take to get to nightly form we can’t say, but there’s a chance you can alpha test the ROM far ahead of everyone else. The XDA developer is only selecting four testers and is very strict about who he wants to help him. Yes, you’ll need to submit an application. All he’s asking for is a sample bug report that shows you’ll be useful to the cause down the line and not just some random user trying to get CyanogenMod 7 and disappear – understandable for someone looking to make real progress on something. He’ll select four of the best users who provide samples tomorrow (July 27) and testing will go underway. Head to XDA now. [Reddit]
