The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. I just wish they would have an update where I could COMPLETELY turn off hardware keyboard support with it.  I want my hardware keyboard to act exactly like it always has (i.e., no automatic space after punctuation), but I still want those features on the software keyboard.  Swiftkey is an INCREDIBLE keyboard, but since I have a Droid 2 Global, I use my hardware keyboard about half of the time, and I dont’ want it to be disturbed.

  2. Does a paid user need to keep SwitftKey and SwiftKey X Beta on their device? I know there is going to be a free upgrade eventually.

    1. no, swiftkey x and regular swiftkey are not connnected in any way.

      1. I really hope that’s not the case cause there’s no way in hell I’m paying twice for this.

      2. Obviously you’ve not been on the VIP Swiftkey forums. The Swiftkey X package is a free upgrade to current users. So when the X version comes out of beta then an upgrade will occur for free. Stop talking about things you have no knowledge of.

      3. As both a paid and ViP customer of SwiftKey I contacted them about this matter and per Joe Braidwood, “Paid will be updated.” was the respond when asked would I have to repurchase this app after the beta was done.

  3. I keep going back and forth between Swype and this. On the Mytouch4g swype doesnt have a google voice mic thingy so I might go back to Swiftkey.
I must say Swiftkey is more enjoyable to use.

  4. Should I use this or Swype?

I have been using Swype, but I have way too many typing errors when I use Swype.

  5. I think that Swiftkey is outstanding. However, the new upgrade would not load on my new Samsung Galaxy 10.1 kept getting unable to parse notice.

  6. can someone upload the apk?

  7. doesn’t work on tablet yet …release date anyone?
