New Android Lineup Fills Out Verizon Device Manager

20

As is usual with devices set to launch on Verizon’s network, entries have appeared in their Device Manager for Big Red’s upcoming Android lineup. Nothing startling or all that new is revealed, but the Motorola Droid Bionic, Samsung Droid Charge, HTC Droid Incredible 2, and Motorola Droid X2 all appear as well as the LG Revolution, HTC Merge, and Sony Ericsson Xperia Play. Yeah that’s the very HTC Merge we just questioned whether or not we’d ever see on VZW. Looks like it’s more a reality now than ever.

Other points of interest: the Droid X2 once again to appears sans any mention of 4G LTE, the Incredible 2 is a global handset, and all devices will receive have access to Verizon’s VCAST store. All of these handsets are rumored to launch within the next two months, so it should be a pretty big spring for Verizon.

  4. What is going on with the grammar in the last few weeks on some Posts? Are you guys trying to get things out there so fast that you don’t proof read your own stuff? Come on already. It gets really difficult when we try to interpret what you guys are saying. Please check your work and read it over and see whether or not it makes sense before posting.

    1. Which post can’t you interpret? They all seem pretty clear to me.

on how Google, OEMs, and carriers are cracking down on rooting I think I’ll wait a little while to see how things pan out. . . as it looks like sticking with the Google device is the best option.

    1. Your an idiot old news bro old news

  10. Stay on the pot as long as you want Verizon, we don’t need another sh*t phone, lol

  11. Where’s the galaxy s ii?

  12. @ Ms Carmen it may still come out next week. He said all the devices will be released within the next two months. So xperia play could still come out next week. I’m getting it but if doesn’t come before the end of the month I guess I’ll try to wait for galaxy s2 :(

  13. About damn time! I have been waiting for the Merge for a long time now. Come on Ice Cream!

  14. The line up sounds nice and all….but where’s the 2.3 update for the droid x? No one should have to buy a new device to get an update….2 years is a long time to give for an update, especially when there’s no guarantee that phone will get the next upcoming update.

  15. The HTC Merge has been sitting in the Device Management Database for close to six months now.
