    1. I think we’re just waiting on Netflix to deliver now. Honeycomb has DRM, but no news about this yet.

  3. There is a major error in this article. Best Buy is releasing the A500 not the A100. The A100 still has no official release date or price.

  4. A100 is NOT the 10 inch, and the press release only mentions the A500. Hopes up, then dashed.

  8. I’m thinking this will be my first tablet. I wanted a Xoom but there is no way i’m spending $150 more for the same specs.

  9. Why would anyone buy this when the transformer is coming out?

    1. I somewhat agree, but when’s the release date and how much will the Transformer cost in the US? And 3Q or 4Q 2011 isn’t a release date.

    2. man…its whatever comes out first!
but i have to say…i feel like i am cheating on the transformer reading about this…

    4. Personal preference?

  11. Isn’t transformer going to be 500 bucks instead of 400 as initially reported?

  12. I’ve seen this news in a few other places and no one has talked about the video capture resolution. That’s concerning to me. I hope it’s at least 720p.
My other concern is will Acer be able to keep up with honeycomb updates? The phone they’re touting on their site still has 2.1.

    1. I’ve answered my own question

The section where it talks about cameras mentions nothing about HD capture whereas the xoom does. There’s some of your price difference.

Still leaning towards the transformer. Don’t disappoint with changing the leaked $400 price.
