Vodafone, O2 Getting the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play

7

The first carriers for the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play have been confirmed as O2 UK has tweeted they’ll be carrying it, and Pocket-Lint was able to confirm Vodafone will. That’s two major carriers in one of the most important markets – not bad, Sony. How about the US next, though? You did air a commercial during the Super Bowl, after all. It wouldn’t be right to tease us during America’s biggest television advertising day of the year and not deliver it! [via Engadget]

  4. T mobile us better get their mind right and get this phone, cuz if they don’t and it turns out to be a game changer, I will follow it!

  5. sony phones will never be on sprint or verizon they practicly invented GSM they will not make CDMA

  6. All I can say is that I hope this phone is more polished than the EXTREMELY RECENT prototypes out there… Feb 13 is just around the corner and I haven’t seen anything remotely close to an acceptable build shown by the media. This is not to say one doesn’t exist, but I would be shocked. As a general rule, these companies need to stop pushing things to market before they are ready. It certainly sullies the android name to some degree.

  7. I know for a fact thats its comming to verizon… *exclusive info*
