Vodafone, O2 Getting the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play

The first carriers for the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play have been confirmed as O2 UK has tweeted they’ll be carrying it, and Pocket-Lint was able to confirm Vodafone will. That’s two major carriers in one of the most important markets – not bad, Sony. How about the US next, though? You did air a commercial during the Super Bowl, after all. It wouldn’t be right to tease us during America’s biggest television advertising day of the year and not deliver it! [via Engadget]

  6. All I can say is that I hope this phone is more polished than the EXTREMELY RECENT prototypes out there… Feb 13 is just around the corner and I haven’t seen anything remotely close to an acceptable build shown by the media. It certainly sullies the android name to some degree.
