Acer beTouch E140 Officially Announced

We’ve been hearing about this phone for some time now – even that it was supposed to be launched in Italy sometime this month – but Acer has been particularly quiet on the latest in their affordable beTouch line.  Today’s announcement still doesn’t confirm anything in the way of availability, so there’s really nothing to say about it: it has Android 2.2, a 2.8-inch QVGA screen, a 3.2-megapixel camera, and a 600MHz processor. WiFi, Bluetooth, and all of the other usual connectivity options are included here.
