The Acer Liquid Metal recently took a stroll through the FCC dropping plenty of info behind it. The 3.6-inch handset with an 800MHz processor can now be officially confirmed to reside in the realm of Froyo, while GSM/EDGE 850/1900 and WCDMA Band II and V give this phone a fighting chance for AT&T. The phone is supposed to be touching down in the UK by the end of this month, but if things like the Dell Streak and Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 are any indication that doesn’t necessarily mean we will see it States-side anytime soon.

  1. I wonder if Acer’s handheld will be every bit as crappy as their PC’s.

  2. Acer Liquid was great.

Hopefully this is AT&T and not one of the Canadian carriers. The second world seems to be getting alot of good phones lately.

  3. I don’t like ACER hardware in phones only in lab tops this one is ugly. And it’s like they will never pick it up just like the miss the chance for the DESIRE and the LEGEND.
