HTC Wildfire Getting an OTA Upgrade

3

Nope, it’s not Froyo. If that’s all you were looking for, you can stop reading here. For those that are just happy with continued improvements to their HTC Wildfire regardless of what version of Android you’re running, HTC’s got an over-the-air upgrade ready for  you to download. The upgrade consists of the following main changes:

Update Information: 1. Enhances support for Facebook status display when dialing; 2. Increases support for Google Services like Google Talk, Android Market and others; 3. Improves combining contacts from Outlook and other source

Go ahead and check for it by going through the usual menus to poll for OTA updates (or just wait for it to call your name. It’s a soothing experience when it does that.)
