Australia Gets the HTC Legend Through Vodafone and 3 Mobile June 3rd

Starting June 3rd, the HTC Legend will be available in Australia for Vodafone. If you prefer to get the phone without a contract, you can expect to pay AUD$599 for it, while it will be offered for free if you get the phone on Vodafone’s $49 cap plan.

Shortly after Vodafone’s launch, 3 Mobile’s pricing and availability will be announced, as well. The HTC Legend runs Android 2.1 and comes with a 3.2 HVGA AMOLED display, the laest version of HTC Sense, a 3.5mm headset jack, a 5-megapixel autofocus camera, and more. 1. Its an amazing phone.
Its good that they will be getting it.

  2. Looks like a nice phone, but it’s a shame HTC has not committed to providing Froyo (2.2) on the Legend; and with their track history of providing 2.1 on the Hero, I think I’ll be waiting for a out of the box 2.2 offering.

  3. I wonder if the $49 per month will include internet data…

  4. Vodafone stores (Australia) are all reporting not having it – or even heard of it.
