P.S.: “than” in ‘If you weren’t in Barcelona, Spain for Mobile World Congress 2010 than you most certainly missed Google CEO Eric Schmidt’s hour-long keynote speech.’ should be “then” …

  5. @Hae, this is a regular error here.
You just need to smile, nod and pretend you aren’t smarter than them.

  6. God, nit picky grammar errors have nothing to do with intelligence. Just shut up about it. Nobody else cares. Get over your OCD and just keep reading the article. If you understand the article, THEN the grammar is good enough that you don’t have to complain about it.

  7. If you cannot differentiate between then and than THEN there is definitely a lack of something in the old noggin.

  8. I totally agree.. the “than” stuck out like a glaring error to me and is not professional in any way. This is a tech site which implies literacy and intelligence. It’s professional and smart to fix grammatical errors. Otherwise, it does make you look ignorant and uneducated. Am I saying phandroid is that? No. But let it happen enough and people will go elsewhere.

  9. @G8D – it’s called a lack of time. We’re busy trying to pump out timely articles for the readers among 5 billion other things. We’ve made typos in the past and we’ll continue to make typos in the future. So will every other site and publication. It’s a fact of life.
