How many cameos has the iPhone made on television? Probably too many to count. And Lil Wayne wheezes out lines like, “Makin’ million dollar deals on my iPhone” in at least 15% of his tracks. But what about Android? Popular perception is that Android is and should be reserved for the more “dorky” of consumers, an presumption that I couldn’t disagree more with. And to help prove my point…
Ugh. 90210? Listen, I’m not exactly yearning for pop culture embellishment for Android but if the T-Mobile G1 was going to be shown on television in part of series I would prefer 90210 keep their hands to themselves.
To appropriately quote Jesus Diaz from Gizmodo, “Jesusrollerbladingchrist. Poor Android.” And to try and turn this article around and regain the interest of at least 50% of readers (men?) – the blonde or brunette? Women can just leave the obligatory, “you’re so shallow comment” – thanks.
your so shallow. – Jason
*you’re
lmao
Let’s not be choosy…in Season 1 of 24, they used this very cool video phone and I know that the company that makes that phone is barely hanging on despite amazing technology.
Tmobile/Danger did a lot of work to get celebs into using the Sidekick. Motorola also used that same approach for their phones. Now does Apple do that? Probably.
If you see a G1 on TV it’s a good thing. Anywhere.
No need to worry. It’ll be a Palm Pre in the next episode.
This kind of publicity is just going to get more morons in the Market Comments area acting like jackasses and (jesusrollerblading christ I hope not) talking about 90210 on their G1s and related sites (look at us, we’re doing it now!!)
You are all acting pretty gay! Who cares if the G1 is endorsed by movie stars or is on T.V…… all I have to say is I have the G1…….it kicks the Iphones ass…….and if you don’t have one……then too bad for you. I don’t need some actor or rapper (who probably doesn’t even know how to use it properly) showing off that they have the phone. Bottom line…….I have one……it rocks………and I’m satisfied with it!
