ZTE Optik Overview

While ZTE is not very well known for manufacturing good Android tablets, this little guy is not so bad. The ZTE Optik has a dual-core processor, 1 GB of RAM and Android 3.2. All packed in a 7-inch form-factor.

The device looks and feels rather nice, and the specs are nothing to scoff at. It is currently available from Sprint. Sadly, though, it has no form of 4G connectivity. So you will have to go with 3G speeds if you want this affordable tablet.

ZTE Optik Reviews

Android Police
"In a nutshell, the Optik is a decent 7" tablet for those on a budget. While it isn't the best tablet around, it's powerful enough for most tasks, feels great in the hand, and isn't too bad to look at."
Wirefly
"With the introduction of the ZTE Optik on Sprint, that price barrier has tumbled down to the land of affordability."
Phone Arena
"So, is this the magic device that will make tablets ubiquitous? Probably not, but it does promise some decent tablet performance on the cheap."
Laptop Mag
"Sprint's 7-inch ZTE Optik Android tablet would seem a steal at $99, but its flaws and data fees outweigh the benefits."
