The Viewsonic ViewPhone 5e is the manufacturer's solution for those that love the larger screens. It sports a 5-inch display, getting close to devices like the Samsung Galaxy Note, but with a much more friendly price tag.

What is interesting is the fact that Viewsonic decided to give this device a 480x800p display resolution. While that is not too bad for an affordable smartphone, the ViewPhone 4s has a 960x640p resolution in a 3.5-inch display. The manufacturer should have at least matched that.

Also, like the other devices announced at Mobile World Congress 2012, the ViewPhone 5e has dual-SIM capabilities. This allows users to use multiple SIM cards simultaneously. Those that travel often will also appreciate such functionality.
