Toshiba FOLIO 100 Reviews
Pocket-lint "At £329 for the 16GB (upgradeable) Wi-Fi only version, it's a good £100 cheaper than the iPad, and offers more features and a 16:9 screen. In addition, as it runs on Android 2.2 (Froyo), there's already a world of apps and software available. The compatibility with Flash 10.1 and HTML5 for web browsing is also advantageous."
Techradar "It's an impressive looking thing - certainly miles ahead from the Journe Touch that Toshiba demonstrated at last year's IFA."
"An affordable Android 2.2 tablet with some unique charms, but it’s let down by a series of niggling flaws"
"All in all , Toshiba Folio 100 , does have the capability to blow off the iPad generation slate computers but it did get to lose points on a few very important features. This tablet computer does have some nice features which you would love to explore and use on a regular basis."
"The hardware's promising, but there are simply too many niggles to make this tablet worth buying."
"We find it a little odd that Toshiba is using Android on the Folio 100, while using Windows 7 on the Libretto W100. Nevertheless, the Folio could be very promising if app developers take advantage of its features, such as the Tegra processor and the HDMI and USB ports."
