Sony Xperia Z

Joining its sibling the Sony Xperia ZL, the Sony Xperia Z is now officially available for purchase direct from Sony’s online storefront. The handset comes unlocked and is available in a variety of colors: black, white, and purple.

We’ve been waiting for some concrete news on the release of the Sony Xperia Z here in the states and after numerous rumors and leaks, the Sony Xperia Z has been confirmed for T-Mobile thanks to an FCC filing.

Sony has released AOSP source for the Sony Xperia Z, and is seeking developers’ help to replace proprietary binaries. New Sony phones are also in line for a Jelly Bean update sometime soon!
