Sony Ericsson Xperia Active Overview
As its name implies, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Active is designed with those with active lifestyles in mind. It features a compact design with a 3-inch Reality display powered by Bravia, and still manages to rock a 1GHz Snapdragon processor. The Active is designed to withstand the elements, and is both dust and scratch-proof. The water-resistant phone sports a cool trick known as wet-finger tracking, which allows you to still use the touchscreen even with wet fingers.
The Xperia Active supports ANT+, and comes pre-packaged with a suite of lifestyle apps for the sporty, including an on-screen heartrate and pulse monitor. It's the perfect gym buddy with Android inside.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Active Reviews
Pocket Lint "Sony Ericsson markets the Xperia Active as a splash-proof, shock-proof handset that offers everything you need in a phone - if you're someone who loves being outside, running, cycling or just walking over hill and dale."
Tech Radar "The Sony Ericsson Xperia Active is one of those odd phones that can survive underwater, help you lose weight and update your social networks, all in one go. But is it actually a decent mobile too?"
Android Central "It's not the phone for everyone, but the Xperia Active is well-suited to the particular niche it's aiming for. It's a thoughtfully-designed smartphone that will appeal to anyone after something a little tougher, or smaller, than what's offered by mainstream devices."
Talk Android "Some say you can have a smartphone or you can have a rugged device, but never can you have both. The folks over at Sony Ericsson are looking to tap into the market where other devices may have tried before."
Phone Arena "Smart and rugged, two words that don't tend to go together all that often, especially when it comes to phones."
GSMArena "Flick it, kick it, throw it, wet it. Drag and drop it. And watch it come back for more. The Sony Ericsson Xperia active is a survivor."
