Samsung Galaxy Metrix 4G

Last updated: Aug 22nd, 2012.

The Samsung Galaxy Metrix is US Cellular's version of the Verizon Samsung Stratosphere. The device is no superphone, but it comes with a very friendly $179 price point and a slideout QWERTY keyboard. The affordable handset should be a great option to casual Android users who don't need many bells and whistles. It packs a 1 GHz Hummingbird processor, 512 MB of RAM and a 4-inch display.

US Cellular is also enticing 4G users (if you live in an 4G area) to purchase the device with a discount. Those of you wanting to take advantage of this deal will only have to pay $130, so make sure you go to your nearest store in a 4G area!
