Pantech Pocket Overview

The Pantech Pocket won't rip your pocket, because it is small and affordable. As devices start becoming bigger (5+ inches), those that still enjoy a small device are starting to feel left out.

This is where the Pantech Pocket comes in the picture. It is much smaller than the usual device, while it still manages to sport a 4-inch display. This is due to the fact that it is made wider than the usual Android smartphone display.

The specs will not blow you away, but they are more than enough to take care of the average consumer. It is as good as many of the high-end devices released during the beginning of 2011.

Pantech Pocket Reviews

Engadget
"The Pantech Pocket is definitely unique -- not because it flips or slides a weird way or because it has two and a half screens, but because its 4-inch display, whose 4:3 aspect ratio promises 20 percent more horizontal real estate."
CNET
"The extra-wide Pantech Pocket has an unusual design and 4G HSPA+ speeds."
Phone Dog
"Pantech has released their newest endeavor, the Pocket with, as usual, an interesting design. Instead of being long and narrow, the phone is short and wide."
PCWorld
"If you're looking for an inexpensive Android phone with a few special features thrown in, the Pantech Pocket is ideal."
PCMag
"The Pantech Pocket has an interesting design with considerable benefits, though a few flaws that have nothing to do with its shape hold it back."
Phone Arena
"With its 4:3 aspect ratio, the Pantech Pocket is undoubtedly different from everything else available on AT&T’s lineup, but physicalities aside, will it be enough to stand out above the crop?"
