Motorola XOOM 2 Media Edition Overview

The Motorola XOOM 2 Media Edition a smaller sized alternative to Moto's 10.1-inch XOOM and XOOM 2 tablets. Specs include a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 8.2-inch HD display with a look and feel similar to the larger XOOM 2. Other than size, hardware remains nearly identical between the two.

Designed with an emphasis on comfort and ease of use, the display features enhanced covers and the tablet's body is ergonomically crafted. The XOOM 2 Media Edition will be available in a WiFi-only format but should also see release with 4G and 3G connectivity built in.

Motorola XOOM 2 Media Edition Reviews

CNET
"The Xoom 2 Media Edition is a smaller, more portable version of the Xoom 2. We like the slimmed-down dimensions and the clear screen, but it isn't running Ice Cream Sandwich, which won't please hardcore Android fans."
T3
"The Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition is the brand's latest Android tablet, but how does it compare to the brand's original Xoom 2?"
Pocket Lint
"Many, including Motorola, followed the iPad's about-10-inch route with the launch of their first tablet, but there's a lot to be said for a more compact format as seen here with the 8.2-inch Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition."
Trusted Reviews
"The Xoom 2 Media Edition doesn't completely win us over thanks to a few sloppy design decisions, a lack of 3G option, no expandable memory and Android's continued lack of apps."
Tech Radar
"Like the 10.1-inch Xoom 2, this is mostly just a slim and slight tablet without any of the bells and whistles that could add bulk."
