Moto G coming soon to Aio Wireless, arrives Valentine’s Day for $150

Aio Wireless is looking to nab a few new customers on Valentine’s Day. Come February 14th, customers will have access to the Motorola Moto G at a discounted $150. It’s not as extreme a discount as the G on Verizon Wireless prepaid or US Cellular, but at least it’s something. In addition to adding new […]

Moto G now available from US Cellular for $99 with no contract

When the Motorola Moto G first launched, there’s denying the little Android was quite the value. Offering a good enough amount of specs for the cheap off-contract price of $180, it’s no wonder many Android fans picked one up without thinking twice. The best part about the device is we saw it appear on pre-paid […]

Verizon’s Moto G now receiving Android 4.4.2 KitKat

We’ve been following the Moto G for quite sometime (ever since we discovered its trademark back in October). In our travels, we watched as the budget device launched on Verizon Wireless — for $100, no less — and with a promise that it would soon be receiving Android 4.4 KitKat. Today is that special day […]

Motorola’s Gallery app heads to Google Play with new user interface

Owners of the Motorola Moto X and Verizon’s newest DROID phones will be happy to know that the company’s gallery app has been put into the Google Play Store. They also too this opportunity to bring us a brand new user interface.

Would you buy a Motorola phone if they had early access to Android updates? [POLL]

When Android 4.4 KitKat launched, we were surprised to see that the Moto X got the upgrade before most Nexus devices. It wasn’t a huge gap between the rollouts, but the fact that any non-Nexus device got it before any others was astonishing. Some suspected Motorola might have had privileged access to the update. Would you buy a Motorola phone if that were true? Vote in the poll inside!

Boost Mobile launches Moto G with NextRadio for $130

Boost Mobile is the next US carrier to launch the extremely affordable Moto G. The Sprint-backed prepaid carrier will offer it for just a meager $130, giving you a quad-core 4.5-inch 720p handset that will be among the first to be upgraded to Android 4.4 KitKat (Boost says as early as February). Boost Mobile’s version […]

Verizon Moto G now available for $100 off-contract

When Motorola announced that the Moto G would be coming to us for as little as $180 off contract, we assumed carriers would look to subsidize it and make it free with a two year commitment. At the very least, we didn’t expect anyone to offer it for an off-contract price that’s even cheaper than […]

Moto G arriving on Boost Mobile January 14th for $130, available now from HSN for $100

Earlier today we saw the Motorola Moto G made official for Verizon Wireless prepaid, coming in at only $100. Now pay-as-you-go MVNO Boost Mobile is also jumping on the handset, offering the Moto G for $130 come January 14th (retail stores on 1/20). For those that don’t feel like waiting, you can snag the handset […]

Verizon Moto G already available at Best Buy for $100

It’s been a few short days since we’ve heard that the Verizon Moto G could be sold for $100 off-contract, but it didn’t take long for Best Buy to confirm that (and to put the thing up for sale). Folks are reporting that Best Buy stores are starting to receive Verizon’s version of the device, […]

Moto G pictured for Verizon Wireless, priced at $99 off-contract?

Despite a lack of 4G LTE, there’s still a few of you interested in the affordably priced Motorola Moto G. At $180 for the off-contract AT&T/T-Mobile/GSM model, really, you could do a whole lot worse. Today, a Best Buy Mobile employee posted a picture of the Moto G in its Verizon packaging to his Google+ […]

Moto G and Moto X facing delays due to weather, some orders being upgraded with free overnight shipping

It’s colder than a polar bear’s toenails outside and that’s only here in Southern Cali. For a good portion of you, winter storm Dion (and now Electra) has been barreling through the US, canceling flights, closing schools, and being just a general pain in the ass. And while you’d think only the mid-west or east […]

Should you find yourself with a few Amazon gift cards this holiday, and have been eyeballing the super affordable Motorola Moto G, good news. The device has just popped up on Amazon, where it is currently available for pre-order. A very capable entry-level Android smartphone, $180 will snag you the 8GB model, while the 16GB […]

Motorola Moto G now available in the US from Motorola.com starting at $179 unlocked

The Motorola Moto G was said to be making its way to the US before the end of January 2014, but Motorola decided that was a bit too long for some folks to wait. While we’ll still be awaiting Verizon’s version of the affordable smartphone, Motorola has no problem offering up the GSM version unlocked starting today.
