Motorola FLIPSIDE Overview
The Motorola FLIPSIDE is another of the seven Android phones that Motorola announced at CTIA 2010. It sports a 3.1 one inch touchscreen, a slide out QWERTY keyboard, and Android with MOTOBLUR. Its name is odd considering nother ever flips. It does slide, though, and has a nice optical trackpad on the front.
It's accurate to liken the Flipside to Ma Bell's version of the Motorola Cliq, but with just a tad bit more bang. AT&T made the phone available on November 8th, 2010.

CNET "Despite its uninspired look and feel, the Motorola Flipside has a well-rounded feature set that balances a socializing agenda with corporate e-mail. That is, if you can look past the troublesome call quality."
Phone Arena "No doubt that the Motorola FLIPSIDE is missing that wow factor as it follows accordingly to the model approach taken by almost every Android powered handset out there. Design wise, it's not striking as some of Motorola's previous ventures on AT&T's lineup; like the BACKFLIP and FLIPOUT. Aside from its slightly better keyboard over the Motorola DROID, there is just too much missing to make this one a stand out contender from the onset. However, its $99.99 on-contract price from the start manages to ease the pain a tad bit which makes it slightly alluring versus other mid-range devices on AT&T's lineup right now."

Unfortunately it seems that AT&T has more mid-range Android phones than solutions for the power users. A segment is clearly missing here."
