LG Phoenix Overview

If you take the LG Thrive (AT&T's firstprepaid smartphone), change the color and add a 2-year contract, you have this phone- the LG Phoenix. AT&T chose to brand this as entirely different phone when they could have simply offered different contract options on the Thrive, but either way, the Phoenix offers an affordable budget Android for folks who want a simple smartphone on a 2-year contract.

The Phoenix comes with a 3.2-inch touchscreen and 3.2MP camera powered by a paltry 600MHz processor. While the Phoenix is a world phone that has smartphone essentials like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS, it won't worky an wonders. it's got the basics covered... but not much else. Stil, as an Android Phone, it could very well please first time smartphone users and those who want no hassle mobile options and limited features/complications.

LG Phoenix Reviews

CNET
The LG Phoenix is a very affordable option for those seeking an entry-level Android smartphone on AT&T Wireless.
Phone Dog
The LG Phoenix doesn't really bring anything new to the table, but it does maintain the same high level of performance as its other Optimus One brethren.
PCMag
The LG Phoenix is a solid, dependable Android smartphone for AT&T subscribers on a budget.
Phone Arena
Also available as the LG Thrive over on the carrier’s prepaid lineup, the $29.99 on-contract LG Phoenix P505 might be able to rise under the ashes and still present itself as a decent handset despite being late to the game.
