LG Optimus Pro

Last updated: Jul 11th, 2011.

The LG Optimus Pro is another device in LG's flagship smartphone brand and it takes a different approach to QWERTY-enabled devices than the norm for them. It's a portrait full QWERTY device, kind of like the Palm Pixi, Blackberries or the Motorola DROID Pro. We're imagining this one isn't exactly a powerhouse beneath its hood, but it's sure to be powerful enough for the crowd it's aimed at. Known specs as of today - Android 2.3 Gingerbread, a 3 megapixel camera and a 2.8 inch HVGA display to sit above that keyboard. The phone is currently known to be available only in India.

LG Optimus Pro is Another Blackberry (Or Palm Pixi) Look-Alike

I’m really, really glad to see the LG Optimus Pro, LG’s latest Android device. More and more, OEMs are bringing this form factor to the table, trying to pull in that crowd of Blackberry users who have gotten so used to their keyboards that they wouldn’t dare switch from their berries, even if they don’t …
