LG Nitro HD Reviews

CNET
With its gorgeous display, high-def everything, and 4G speeds, the LG Nitro HD has what it takes to compete; however, a few flaws keep it from trampling the competition.
Engadget
You may recognize this particular handset from its former life as the Optimus LTE, except here the phone's been rebranded with a moniker that more astutely conveys its blazing 4G purpose.
Android Central
If you're an AT&T customer looking for the most beefed-up Android device the carrier has to offer, you've found it. It's thin, it's light, and it's as fast as they come.
Android Community
As AT&T’s third 4G LTE smartphone, the LG Nitro HD has a lot riding on it. As the carrier’s very first phone with a 720p screen (and the nation’s second), it’s got a lot more. In other markets, this phone is being sold by variations on the theme of the LG Optimus LTE.
Tech Crunch
I find myself looking at the Nitro HD with mixed feelings. In some ways, it’s exactly what I’ve been asking for from LG, and in others it simply brings about disappointment.
IGN
One look at the Nitro HD and you could almost swear that it was a Samsung Galaxy S II, but bigger. With a 4.5” display (and 5.27” tall), the Nitro is a giant among phones, though not as big as the Galaxy Nexus.
Slash Gear
The LG Nitro HD is AT&T’s first phone with a 720p HD display and is only the third smartphone powered by their new 4G LTE network, so it has quite a bit to live up to.
Pocket Now
The LG Nitro on AT&T is among the first shipping Android phones to pack a full 720p display. Not only that, it's among the first shipping AT&T phones to do LTE.
Ubergizmo
LTE 4G is, as they say in Boston, wicked fast. And AT&T’s shiny new LTE version is magnificently showcased on the new LG Nitro HD, which also features an exquisite “HD” 1280 x 720 4.5-inch display.
Into Mobile
The LG Nitro HD is an exciting device because it has the specs to legitimately be the best phone today with its 720p screen, 1.5 GHz processor and 4G LTE support.
PCMag
The LG Nitro HD offers AT&T users blazing LTE data speeds and scorching dual-core performance, along with an incredible 720p display.
Laptop Mag
The LG Nitro HD Android phone offers a bright 4.5-inch HD display and blazing 4G LTE speeds, but it's held back by poor battery life and a clunky skin.
Phone Arena
Following suit after its rivals, LG has now joined the 4G LTE party on AT&T by unleashing the mighty LG Nitro HD.
GSMArena
The LG Nitro HD for AT&T Wireless comes with some seriously heavy expectations to meet. It was back in August, when we first reported about the award winning AH-IPS screen with HD resolution, developed by LG.
