HTC Vivid Reviews

The Verge
Leaked over the last several weeks as the "Holiday," the Vivid comes to market with a good bit of pent-up anticipation behind it — not only is the LTE support a big deal, but this marks the first time HTC has brought a qHD display to an AT&T device.
CNET
If you can overlook the cheap plastic design, the HTC Vivid delivers an all-around excellent user experience at a palatable price.
Engadget
This round two redux takes the form of the Vivid: an all-black, metal-backed unassuming plastic slab that houses a dual-core 1.2GHz processor and 8 megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash under a 4.5-inch qHD display.
Android Central
The HTC Vivid is HTC's latest phone, built for AT&T's fledgling LTE network.  There's a lot here that makes us feel right at home -- the Vivid is a combination of the best HTC had to offer for 2011 with HSPA+ and LTE radios thrown in for good measure.
Android Community
But the Vivid isn’t relying on a single bullet point to make its purchase case – the dual-core Gingerbread phone has some high-end specs and a huge 4.5-inch qHD screen. Does the high-end featureset and a fancy new network connection make the Vivid a worthy buy?
Talk Android
The HTC Vivid launched side by side with the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket two months ago as the first LTE phones available on AT&T.
BGR
The other device was a brand new handset from HTC dubbed “Vivid.” In terms of hardware, the Vivid is a fairly substantial departure from other recent HTC phones. It is built with different materials and its shape is unlike any other handset from the vendor.
Pocket Now
Originally codenamed Holiday, the HTC Vivid is one of the newest 4G (LTE) devices from ATT, but not the first LTE phone from HTC.
Slash Gear
This month AT&T have revealed their first two 4G LTE devices, the Samsung Skyrocket and the HTC Vivid, the latter device being the one we’re having a look at here today.
IGN
Now AT&T is joining the mix, and the first new phones supporting LTE are just coming out. The first is the HTC Vivid, and it has the best build quality of any smartphone from the Taiwan-based hardware maker to date.
PCWorld
With its large and lovely display and fast LTE speeds, the HTC Vivid is an excellent phone for watching movies or playing games—but watch that battery.
Laptop Mag
The HTC Vivid offers Android fans strong performance and fast 4G LTE speeds at a good price, but it's a little bulky.
Phone Arena
Seeing that AT&T is on the verge of kicking things up with their 4G LTE network, it's naturally fitting for them to bring a device that showcases their network's potential.
GSMArena
The final member of AT&T’s LTE smartphone 2011 lineup is at the start line, ready to impress. The HTC Vivid is joining the company of the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket and LG Nitro HD in a bid to defend the reputation of the Taiwanese company.

Dr. Dre Beatbox Available March 11th Through AT&T for $400, Press Release Tips ICS for HTC Vivid “In the Coming Weeks”

AT&T have announced that they are now offering Dr. Dre Beatbox for $400. It’s an accessory which is definitely aimed to challenge Jawbone’s JAMBOX. Compared to that, though, it seems grossly overpriced. You’re getting Bluetooth functionality and likely exceptional sound, but if it’s anything like their line of headphones you should definitely be able to [...]
