Apr 4th - Amazon has finally made their move to take over the living room, but is Fire TV any better than existing set-top boxes? Do people want to play Android games on their TV We also talk about Microsoft conforming to the competition, and releasing a feature with the coolest name ever.
Mar 28th - The guys can finally talk about the HTC One (M8) officially. Did it live up to the hype? Will it be destroyed by the Galaxy S5? Also, Facebook bought Oculus Rift, but you shouldn't worry too much about it. Other topics include Google I/O, millions of iPhones, Windows Phone 8.1, and Edgar selling his beloved G2.
Mar 21st - Google interrupted a pretty boring week with some big news for wearables. The guys talk about Android Wear, the Moto 360, LG G Watch, and even the iWatch. They also give Chris a hard time for becoming a Samsung fan. Lastly, they finish things off with Wins and Fails, and give you their App Picks of the week.
Mar 14th - Mutant Android and Windows Phone devices are coming, whether we like it or not. We share our thoughts on the prospect. iTunes Radio has surpassed Spotify in popularity here in the US. We share our favorite streaming apps. After the news we play THE PHONE NAME GAME, do Wins/Fails of the week, and share app picks.
Mar 7th - This week the guys are back from MWC to talk mobile news. Apple makes iOS in the car official with "CarPlay," Microsoft's Siri-competitor leaks on video and makes it onto The Tonight Show, and Samsung steals The Oscars.
Feb 21st - WhatsApp with Facebook? Do they think they can just buy everything? Well, yes, they probably could. Terrible puns aside, the guys talk about this recent acquisition. They also share predictions for MWC next week. In a new segment the guys play "The Link Bait Game," and then the show is concluded with favorite app picks and Wins/Fails of the week.
Feb 14th - This week we recap the Rise and Fall of Dong. Of course, we're talking about the developer of Flappy Bird. We also talk about the latest iPhone 6 leak and hoax, the dozens of Windows Phone 8.1 leaks, Edgar's love of everything with the letter "G," and Verizon's latest shady move.
Jan 31st - This week on the podcast we celebrate our 30th episode by purchasing Motorola! Okay, actually that was Lenovo who did that. We don't have that kind of money...yet. We talk at length about what this means for Motorola, Google, and Android in general.
Jan 24th - The gang is back together again as Edgar returns from his trip to court. Why was he at court? Tune in to find out! We also discuss the latest iPhone 6 rumors, Nintendo and their dinosaur approach to mobile gaming, Samsung's new Windows Phone-like UI, and so much more!
Jan 17th - We're back from CES for another episode of the Mobile Roar Podcast! Well, not all of us are back. Edgar is attending the Google Glass traffic hearing in San Diego. We recap that and talk about electironics in vehicles. We also discuss our best and worst from CES and thoughts on the future of the show.
Jan 3rd - We're back from a short holiday break to talk about the big stories in mobile from the last two weeks. SnapChat, Nokia Normandy, Apple/Samsung feud, CES, and the best phones of 2013.
