Garminfone Overview

The Garmin-Asus Garminfone is the company's first offering for T-Mobile USA. With a 3.5 inch capacitive touchscreen and built-in Garmin GPS, this is more of a GPS with phone cpabilities rather than a phone with GPS capabilities.

Loaded with Android 1.6 and all the other goodies that you can expect in a mid-level smartphone, the Garminfone is a good choice for those that travel a lot or just get lost a lot. Having phone capabilities doesn't hurt either. You can pick it up with a 2 year contract from T-Mobile USA for 199.99.

Garminfone Reviews

Garmin-Asus Garminfone Review
For $199, the Garminfone is an interesting choice
Garminfone (T-Mobile)
The T-Mobile Garminfone is a huge improvement over the Nuvifone G60, proving to be a capable smartphone just as much as it is a reliable navigator.
Review: Garmin Asus Garminfone
It's too bad T-Mobile's Garminfone and Verizon's HTC Incredible can't mate and have perfect little children, but for the right user, the Garminfone is worth some sacrifice. If you really want a quality navigation device that's also a quality smartphone, the Garminfone is no slouch in either department. Just remember to bring your own camera, and maybe an iPod for some tunes.
Garmin Garminfone for T-Mobile review - Android and navigation all in one
If you find yourself driving or traveling a lot, you should consider the Garminfone. It's navigation features are more robust than the software that's built into Android, and it comes with a bonus car kit. Anyone on T-Mobile who is looking for a social-networking or multimedia device should consider other phones like the CLIQ or CLIQ XT, which offer a better social networking experience, but if you don't care about those features, the Garminfone is a pretty stellar device.
