Visa Launches Android Mobile Application

We’re pretty excited because it’s the first financial application for Android from a “heavy hitter” and it offers some great features of which at the moment, only select Chase Visa card holders can take advantage.

Google Bringing Ringtones, Wallpaper To Android Market

It’s amazing what a little poking around can do. After extracting and unzipping Market.APK from the T-Mobile G1, a little browsing reveals that Google has placeholder icons for Ringtones and Wallpapers. Found in res > drawable > the answer lies in two files called ringtones.png and wallpapers.png, seen below:

Sony Ericsson, HTC Androids Set For Summer 2009

With yesterday’s announcement that Sony Ericsson (and 13 others) joined the Open Handset Alliance, it was obvious they would be working on an Android Phone for 2009 release.
