We’ve been hearing about dual screen and foldable devices as the next innovation that will hit the tech industry, with the most recent rumor suggesting ZTE would partner with AT&T for their foldable device. Now, the folks over at Android Authority have gotten their hands on the ZTE Axon M, which shows a foldable device that looks kinda like a book.

The device has been rumored for a while now as the ZTE Axon Multy, but this latest report suggests that it could launch as the Axon M. The device appears to feature two Full HD displays that fold out into a 6.8″ display that features a 19,20 x 2,160 resolution. ZTE plans to debut the new phone on October 17th at an event in New York City.

ZTE’s most recent efforts in the smartphone space have been very interesting. The ZTE Axon 7 was a very capable device that rivaled the OnePlus 3/3T in terms of specs for value, so it will be interesting to see how ZTE plans to implement a dual display screen without making the seam too annoying.
